These delicious dog muffins combine apples and zucchini into a nutritious, homemade treat that dogs love.
A to Z Muffins

In one bowl blend:
4 c flour
1 TBSP baking powder
1/2 tsp cinnamon
In a second bowl blend:
2 3/4 cups water
1/2 tsp vanilla
2 TBSP pure honey (Manuka Honey offers more mineral benefits)
1/4 c pure unsweetened applesauce
1 c pureed, mashed or grated zucchini
1 egg
- Preheat oven: 350 F
- Slowly mix wet ingredients into the dry ingredient bowl.
- Pour into baking cups. Bake for about an hour, then check every five minutes until a toothpick comes out clean. Reduce cooking time for mini baking cups.
These homemade dog treats offer protein, thiamin, niacin, pantothenic acid, vitamin A, vitamin C, vitamin B6, folate, calcium, iron, magnesium, phosphorus, potassium, magnesium, manganese, amino acids and antioxidants.
