As the holidays approach, we welcome the scents of the season into our home. There’s no reason why your best friend can’t contribute with the help of an easy, natural glycerin dog soap, scented with pure essential oils.

Many glycerine “melt and pour” soap bases are filled with chemicals and are known to be harsh and drying to skin. Thankfully, there are more natural alternatives available. For example, one of our favorites is organic Goats Milk Glycerin Melt & Pour Soap Base, made with goat milk and coconut oil extract.

Once you’ve selected your soap base, all you have to do is add an appropriate amount of pure essential oils. Essential oils and other ingredients can provide healing properties to your soap in addition to aroma. The holiday-scented soap recipes for dogs (or humans) that we’ve formulated for you will heal, nurture, and gently cleanse skin.

OR

Notes of Caution:  Store essential oils out of reach of pets and children.  Some essential oils may cause allergic reaction in sensitive dogs.  This DIY soap recipe should not be used on other pets, such as cats or rabbits.
