1/4 tsp chlorella powder (chlorophyll)
1/4 tsp peppermint leaf powder (‘deodorizer’ and aids digestion)
* Supplements (optional)

Step 2:  In a second bowl blend:

2 1/2 cups water
1/2 tsp vanilla
1/4 c pure unsweetened applesauce
1 cup plain, active yogurt
1 egg

Step 3:  After blending the two bowls add:

1/4 cup chopped or pureed fresh parsley (digestion & ‘deodorizer’)

Preheat oven: 350 F

Slowly mix bowl one into bowl two. Add parsley.

Pour into baking cups. Bake for about 45 minutes, then check every five minutes until a toothpick comes out clean. Reduce cooking time for mini baking cups.

* Supplements:  You can supplement this recipe with a digestive enzyme formula for pets that includes prebiotics and probiotics. Aloe is also a digestive and anti-inflammatory aid that may improve bad dog breath due to digestive issues.

Nutrition Bite: Parsley assists in digestion, moves gas along, and acts as a body ‘deodorizer’. It also contributes Vitamin A, C and Chlorophyll to address bad dog breath.

  1. They mix up a little dry so I added applesauce. It’s funny that some things work like internal deoderant LOL but they do the trick! I might have to make them for my human coworkers because some of them have worse breath than a dog!

  2. We’ve been eating these (ok SHE’s been eating them I just bake them LOL) for a couple of weeks now and they actually work! We also switched her food and that helps. Her dog breath has improved and she doesn’t smell musty anymore. We thank you!

  3. If your dog doesn’t like them add bacon! That’s my answer for everything my dog doesn’t like and it works.

  4. I can’t wait to try this recipe and see if it helps my dog’s dog breath. I can smell it a mile away and when he pants in summer it almost knocks you over! LOL
